Ring Sumo — Game guide

Ring Sumo is the sumo fight for your live: a ring seen from above, two teams and, in the rope around it, a gap that travels. Every gift becomes a ball with the sender's photo: the bigger the gift, the bigger and heavier the ball. The balls charge at the enemy ones and shove them; whoever ends up in the gap is out, and that is a point for the other team. It runs in the browser: open games.tikforge.net/en/games/ring-sumo in a tab (or as a Browser Source in OBS or TikTok Live Studio), with nothing to download.

The live connection is the same as every web game: just open the page while logged in and press Connect Live in the dashboard. There is nothing to set up in Actions & Events: the rules are written inside the game.

How to play

You run the match with a single button, in three steps: Start begins the countdown (3 minutes by default), Stop ends the match and says who won, Reset puts everything back on hold. Gifts that arrive while the match is stopped are not lost: they come in at the next Start.

The balls come in from their team's side and go for the enemy ones: they wind up, dash and shove. The heavier one wins more often. And the team that has received more coins this match shoves harder: the line under the scoreboard shows it, and it moves with every gift. A ball shoved out through the gap is worth one point for the other team (2 for a big one, 3 for a giant); a ball that reaches the gap on its own stays balanced on the edge until someone shoves it; two or three out in a row make a streak, and a ball that throws out many carries its number on a gold badge. With only one team in the ring nothing happens: it waits for the opponents. If a team's room in the ring is full, the extra balls wait in line: the bigger ones go in first, and the small ones make room for them.

The last 30 seconds are the finale: there are two gaps, and they turn faster. When the time runs out the clock stays at 0:00, in red, and play goes on until you press Stop. The team with more points wins and takes a WIN; level is a draw. The final screen shows the winner's logo and name, the score, its WINs, the top gifter and the strongest, the one who threw out the most.

The audience actions

In the Actions tab every line belongs to a team and says: when this arrives, that happens. The active actions show on screen in the gift list, so viewers know what to send: at the sides of the ring, one column per team, or in a carousel below (in a narrow, vertical window, always below). Tap a gift in the list to test it.

When it arrivesHow it works
GiftFires with that gift. Several identical gifts in a row count several times. Each gift sits on one action only.
FollowFires on every new follow.
Tap tapTaps add up and the action fires every so many (every 100 by default).
ShareFires on every share.
What happensEffect
BallsSends balls to the team: as many as you choose, sized by the gift or small, big or giant.
PushFor a few seconds the team's balls run faster and almost always win the shove.
ShockwaveOne blast that sends every opponent toward the gap: the ones close to it go out. Big ones move less.
Wide gapFor a few seconds the gap is wider, for both teams.
+WINGives WINs to the team.
−WINTakes WINs from the opponents.

These are the starting actions:

LeftRight
Rose: 1 ballGG: 1 ball
Perfume: push for 6 secondsS Flowers: push for 6 seconds
Confetti: a shockwaveHat and Mustache: a shockwave
Corgi: 3 giant ballsBoxing Gloves: 3 giant balls
Money Gun: 5 shockwavesCoral: 5 shockwaves
Gerry the Giraffe: +5 WINGalaxy: +5 WIN
Glowing Jellyfish: -5 WIN to the opponentsBlooming Ribbons: -5 WIN to the opponents

Whatever no action takes follows the rules of Everything else: other gifts send one ball to the sender's team, sized by its coins (small up to 4, big from 5, giant from 30; 12 balls per gift at most); every follow sends 1 ball to both teams; every 50 taps, one ball to both. You can change the numbers in the panel.

Teams and ready matchups

By default the teams are Orange and Cyan. In the Teams tab you choose the name and colour of each, or you open Ready-made matchups: one tap gives both teams a name, a logo and a colour. There are Ronaldo vs Messi, iPhone vs Samsung, McDonald's vs Burger King, Xbox vs PlayStation, Coca-Cola vs Pepsi, football clubs, Ferrari vs Lamborghini, Marvel vs DC, Dog vs Cat, Pizza vs Sushi and more. Your teams goes back to the teams you picked side by side.

Each side has its own box: tap the Team shown there and a page opens with every team, each with its crest on its colour. There are yours (they stay saved: name, colour and a crest you upload) and the ready-made ones, one by one: so you can keep one team and change only the opponent, even starting from a ready-made matchup. A side's team is changed while the match is stopped, and points and WINs restart from 0.

Whoever writes a team's word in chat (the first word of its name: “orange”, “cyan”, “ronaldo”…) joins that team: their gifts that are not among the actions will go to it. Whoever has not chosen ends up in the team that is losing.

The settings

The gear opens the settings, split into five tabs. Changes apply right away. They open in a panel on the right: the ring stays in the middle.

TabWhat it holds
MatchHow long it lasts, whether it ends by itself at 0:00, the finale with two gaps, the WINs to fix by hand and whether Reset clears them.
TeamsThe team on each side (yours, with name, colour and crest, or a ready-made one) and the ready-made matchups.
ActionsThe gift list (whether it shows, at the sides or in the carousel below, how big it is, how far from the ring, the space between gifts), each team's actions and the rules of Everything else.
RingThe gap (how wide, how fast it turns); the balls (size, how many fit); the sizes of the ring and of the scoreboard; the background (Plain, Two colours, Galaxy, Particles, Neon); the latest gifts on screen; the sound.
TestFake gifts, taps and follows to try things with no live, and a simulated live that runs by itself.

The controls

  • Button at the bottom right: Start, Stop, Reset.
  • Icons at the top right: settings, pause, sound on or off, full screen.
  • Reset WINs, at the bottom left: sets the WINs back to zero. It takes two taps: the first one asks “Sure?”.
  • Gifts in the list: tapped, they trigger their action with a fake viewer.
  • Esc — closes the settings.

In a wide window the buttons sit at the edges of the screen and the game in the middle: on stream, show only the central part.

Good to know

  • Settings and WINs are saved in the browser you play in: opening the game from another browser or PC starts from the defaults.
  • While the match is stopped real gifts wait: they count at the next Start, and are not lost even if you press Reset.
  • The simulation does not start with the live connected: fake gifts in front of a real audience would be a trick.
  • With the Free plan you get 5 actions at most: the extra ones stay in the list, disabled.
  • The live status is at the top: Live, Not live, or Log in to connect your live if the page is not open while logged in.
  • You need a subscription or the trial: Ring Sumo is part of the TikForge catalog, so the game asks for access.
