The Pull is a tug of war between two teams: one rope, a knot in the middle and the audience pulling. Every interaction from your TikTok live is a yank one way or the other, and whoever drags the rope past their own line wins. It runs in the browser: open games.tikforge.net/en/games/the-pull in a tab and play, with nothing to download and no game account to link — you just need an active subscription and to be logged in.

How a battle works

You start from the menu with Start the battle: a countdown from three, then PULL! and the rope starts moving. From there on the match is a single number — the position of the knot: negative to the left, positive to the right. Every yank moves it by its own strength, and the two lines on screen are there to show you how much is left.

Reaching the line does not settle anything though: the only referee is the clock. When the battle's time runs out, the side the rope is leaning towards at that moment wins. If the knot is exactly in the middle there is no draw: you go to extra time, half a minute more, and keep pulling.

The default length is five minutes and you set it from Teams, from 1 to 60 minutes; the change applies from the next battle, not the one in progress. In the same place there is the win target (from 1 to 99) and the switch that makes a battle restart on its own after the victory screen.

A lead is never lost along the way: if a team is +1000 ahead, the rope on screen stops at the line but the real count stays whole, and anyone wanting to come back has to fill all of it. A +100 the other way does not bring the battle back level.

What the gifts do

There are three actions, and you pick them row by row in the 🎁 panel inside the game (how that works is explained below). Every row applies to the team it sits under, so there is no such thing as a "left" or "right" action: it is the row that says which way it pulls.

ActionWhat it doesThe number
Pull +Pulls the rope towards the row's team. The strength of the yank, from 1 to 100,000, multiplied by the combo units
Pull −The opposite: pushes the rope against the row's team.Same as above
Win +Adds wins to the row's team. How many wins
Win −Takes wins off the row's team. How many wins

The win counter is historical: it stays there even when the battle restarts, and is only wiped by hand.

Careful if you are coming from an old setup: The Pull is no longer configured from the dashboard's Events & Actions tab. The Pull actions saved in there some time ago are still written in the profile but are no longer executed: if you have any, feel free to delete them, and set everything up from the game's 🎁 panel.

Linking gifts to actions

The "this gift does this thing" rules are written inside the game, in the menu's 🎁 Gifts panel — the one titled Interaction values. The panel is split by team, with the real names of the moment, and every row is made of three things: the TikTok gift (picked from the catalogue, with the real image and the cost in diamonds), the action (Pull, Win + or Win −) and the number. For Pull there is also the sign: + pulls for the row's team, − pushes the rope against it. With Win ± the sign disappears, because the direction is already in the action, and the number becomes how many wins.

A gift can only sit in one row in the whole panel: it is the gift that says which team is being pulled for, so the same gift on two rows would make the outcome ambiguous — entries already taken are disabled in the other dropdowns. With + Add gift you add more (up to sixteen per team) and with the × you remove them, except the last one. Then Save.

Those same rows are also the columns at the edges of the screen: emoji on top, value underneath, so the audience can read what does what while you play. Clicking one does exactly what the real gift would do — it is the dress rehearsal, without waiting for anyone.

From the live stream only gifts count, and only the ones that have a row. Likes, follows and comments move nothing, and a gift with no row is ignored: no hidden effects. The strength applied is the row's number multiplied by the combo units, and that is all.

Before you go live, remember that the TikTok @ linked in your profile has to be the one you stream from, and that the page has to stay open while you are logged in: it is your session that carries the events to the game. The Connect the live (dashboard) item in the menu opens the dashboard in a new tab.

The teams and the logos

From the ⚙ Teams card you set the name (up to 24 characters) and emoji of each team, and upload the logo: an image of yours for the blue side and one for the red side, with the × next to it to remove it. The menu's 🖼 Team logos section is what makes it fit: horizontal, vertical and size, one slider per side, plus Recenter logos to put everything back.

The game folder already has ready-made logos you can use: apple, samsung, mcdonalds, burgerking, messi, ronaldo, playstation and xbox.

The ⚔ Battle & VS card is the shortcut: one click and names, emojis and logos are already set. The ready-made match-ups are Ronaldo vs Messi, iPhone vs Samsung, McDonald's vs Burger King, Sea vs Mountain, Xbox vs PlayStation, Dog vs Cat and Pizza vs Sushi.

The in-game menu

It opens with the ☰ button in the corner: a full-height drawer, with the five cards at the top and, below them, the sections that open accordion-style.

Things worth knowing

  • You can test it without a live: on the keyboard, Q W E R yank left and A S D F yank right. They are the exact same events that come from real gifts: if it works like this, it works live.
  • Outside a battle the yanks are lost: before the start and after the win the rope does not move, by design. No hits after the final whistle.
  • The wins are not wiped on their own: the battle restarts from zero, the win counter does not. To clear everything there is Wipe everything (WINs and battle), the end-of-the-night gesture.
  • It is fine for streaming as it is: the scene is designed around TikTok's vertical frame and there is fullscreen. If you capture the window from OBS you do not need fullscreen.
  • If the page has been open a while, reload it: the game checks by itself that it is not an old version and reloads if it is, but starting from a fresh tab before going live is the simplest thing to do.
